Our approach at the college level mirrors our philosophy with our professional athletes: athlete driven content that is authentic to the player and creates long-lasting relationships with companies that align with the athlete's personal brand.
We advise our clients on deals that further each client's long-term personal goals while also capitalizing on his current market value. This includes work with national brands, local small-businesses, and alumni-owned companies.
NIL OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
As a licensed attorney our Director of NIL Operations, Emily Staker, has worked with several Universities to ensure that their athletes are set up for success when agreeing to NIL deals facilitated by Collectives.
This includes contract review, facilitating negotiation, and reviewing any escrow provisions provided by the Collective, as well as registering LLC's, S-Corps, and other entities for players. Through our work, we ensure that each player takes all factors into consideration when working 1:1 with a Collective, including tax implications, contract enforceability, and exploring the viability of further opportunities with the Collective.
Our goal is for every player to feel empowered and educated throughout the NIL process and establish a strong foundation so that the client can ultimately maximize his value at the professional level.
